Abstract Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a difficult-to-treat, painful, chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by nodules, abscesses and tunnels. Delay in diagnosis increases disease severity overall burden. In England, HS associated with high healthcare resource use, an estimated prevalence of 1.2% the general UK population (Ingram JR, Jenkins-Jones S, Knipe DW et al.
